Terms & Conditions

Guests must agree to the following terms and conditions prior to occupying the premises: 

 

PAYMENT

  • Full Payment is required prior to occupancy. 
  • In the event of a cancellation by a guest, the full rental charge will be applicable if less than 48 hours notice has been given.
  • Due to extenuating circumstances the owner may need to cancel a reservation and shall not be financially responsible for damages caused by such action but will immediately return any deposits or payments. Our liability for cancellation will be limited to payments made to us.
  • Bookings cannot be accepted from persons under eighteen years of age.

 

 

DEPOSIT

  • By making the booking you accept responsibility for any theft, breakage or damage caused by you, pets or any member of your party and agree to indemnify us in full for any loss that we may incur including, but not limited to, damages on appliances or finishes, furniture, or any other costs or losses resulting from the negligence of the Guest.  A Damage Deposit is required on a credit card at the time of the booking and will be released immediately following your stay as long as The Shed is in the same condition as when rented.
  • Guests must release Owners from any responsibility or liability whatsoever that might arise out of the use of The Sheds. Guests do so at their own risk. 
  • If you notice something is missing or damaged in your accommodation, please let us know immediately so that we can take the appropriate action. 

 

 

CONDITIONS

 

  • Alcohol may only be consumed inside The Shed or on the attached balcony. Guests may be asked to leave immediately without refund if they interfere with the peaceful enjoyment of neighbors or other users of the facility. Alcohol is for private consumption only, no liquor sales on site. Consumption is at your own risk. 
  • During occupancy, Guests must ensure that all persons using The Shed do so in an orderly manner and do not breach any law, regulation, bylaw, rule or policy of the town. 
  • Overnight stays are prohibited as we are not licenced as overnight accommodation.
  • All equipment and services booked must be confirmed prior to occupancy. 
  • Cooking in The Shed is not permitted but the BBQ may be used outside.
  • Well behaved and clean pets are welcome during your stay. Please clean up after your pets. Guests are responsible for any damage that may occur as a result of having your pet with you. 
  • NO SMOKING - Fine of $500 will be applied to anyone who smokes or vapes in a Shed. 
  • The Shed must be maintained in a tidy clean condition for the duration of your stay. 
  • Guests are responsible to pay for additional costs that may arise as result of use of the premises or by any person permitted by the guest to enter The Shed. Guests must abide by the occupancy requirements of each shed unless otherwise agreed with the owner. 
  • Guests must use the wood stove and other equipment in accordance with the manufacturer’s guidelines. 
  • No equipment or appliances shall be removed from The Shed. 
  • Guests may not perform any constructions or alterations, this includes affixing attaching any item to the floor, walls or ceiling. No alterations or tampering with safety equipment. 
  • Please park your vehicles in the designated parking space ensuring cars do not block access to other properties. Parking is limited to 2 vehicles.
  • Owners may refuse occupancy to any person or group based on owner’s discretion. 

 

CHECKOUT

 

  • Guests must vacate the property as per the time agreed or based on the direction of the owners. 
  • Guest agrees to notify the owner of any condition that may render the premises or equipment unsafe for use, and if the owner is unable to correct the condition, then the owner has the right to cancel the use of the premises until the condition is corrected by the owner. 
  • We ask that you tidy The Shed to leave it as your found it. Garbage should be placed in the bin.
